Here’s to the Talladega Tornadoes Marching Band : Or, What a transfer of power should look like

Congratulations to Talladega College President, Dr. Billy C. Hawkins and the Marching Tornadoes!  I, as many, are so proud of them and look forward to their performance during Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017!

Dr. Billy C. Hawkins, and these amazing young college students are the epitome of what a peaceful transition of power in the United States really means.  Shame on those who have actually threatened these young college students.  Threatened them physically … young college students … who simply want to be a part of a historical moment in this country … something that so few have the privilege to do.

I stand in awe of Talladega College’s commitment to honor our greatest privilege given to the American people via the blood and sacrifice of our great veterans, and preserved by the great men and women serving our military, today.  I stand in awe of the great political leaders and advocates fighting for the values as formed by our Founding Father.

On January 20, 2017, there will be a transfer of power in the United States.  And, the Talladega College Tornadoes Marching Band will be marching to their message (and lesson) of how a true transfer of power and unification of a country should look like … and sound.  It is a message that will be heard around the world.  It will be a clear and loudly received message.  My prayer is that most will open their eyes, ears, and hearts to that message, and listen.

Here is the link to the account.  When I captured this link, the amount raised, thus far was $400,998.00.  God Bless those who have contributed.
