MERYL STREEP, I DON’T NEED YOU

So, Meryl Streep said something like … without them, all we would have is football (and something else …) Well Meryl, I love football and I don’t need you, in fact … didn’t know you still made movies.

I have tried to watch some of the movies that have been released over the last few years, and the only ones that I thought had any value were American Sniper and Lone Survivor. You didn’t have as much as a cameo in either movie.

None of you can speak from the heart … you all need scripts in order to converse. It’s my opinion that most of you will sleep with a goat, if it would get you a part in a movie.

Aside from a script, I doubt if any of you read. You all talk about Trump’s foul mouth, but it doesn’t seem to stop you from wearing see-through clothes that enhance your … enhanced boobs, butts, etc., on the red carpet, or taking a starring role as sleazy con artists with foul mouths, with no regard to the message you are sending our children.

You talk about how great Socialism is and how we should “help” the poor, as you buy mansions in 3 different locations, drive $300,000 vehicles and spend more on lunch that most people make in one month. How many of you have invited illegals to come live with you? How many kids have you put through college that could not have otherwise gone to college? How many of you have “cheap” labor cleaning your pools and cleaning up after one of your drunken, pill-induced, free-for-alls?

How many of you have been in the military and served your country. How many burning houses have you ran into to save lives? How many times have you run toward gun fire, instead away from it?

In fact, seriously … what have YOU ever done for this country?

No Meryl, I really don’t need you. I happen to love football, and I do like to read … books, newspapers, journals, etc. In fact … rather than to spend my money going to movies and supporting your bad language, sleazy-looking clothes, drinking and drug problems, and your need for adulation … (you as in YOU and your movie making one-night-wonders) … I decided to buy myself a Kindle Oasis e-reader.

Seriously … I … don’t … need … you.

THE DUALITY OF JULIAN ASSANGE

As did many, I watched the Sean Hannity interview with Julian Assange, last night.  For me, it wasn’t just about the alleged Russian hack and influence on this previous election.  It was about the man, Julian Assange, himself.  It is the “duality” of the man who perplexes me.  Aside from the fact he needs a good hair-cut, I still haven’t figured him out.

Does he consider himself a force of evil or a force of good?  Does he think of himself as a journalist, the founder of what has become a powerful media force over the last ten years, a hacker, a con man … a rapist … or … an innocent man … who is trapped (by others) in a nightmare of revenge for past actions, falsely accused of rape, who is simply getting the truth to the American people?

He said, last night that only one person knew the real truth about the Wiki-leaks exposure of the John Podesta/Hillary Clinton emails.  That person is him.  And, I suppose, he is the only one that knows “who” Julian Assange is … and what drives his ambitions.

It is true that John Podesta’s emails were hacked.  Seriously … his password was “password?”  I do not condone “hacking.”  It is a despicable action, and most people would be embarrassed (probably losing some friends, a job … or a very angry spouse.)  On the other hand, these were government official’s emails, of which … Julian Assange and Wiki-leaks exposed the true ugliness and hypocrisy of politics, and politicians.  He allowed us to see the inner workings of the people who could have very well been packing-up to move to the White House.  Julian Assange confirmed everything we had always felt about the politicians we have given our trust, but had never had confirmed.

It is also true that Julian Assange exposed the emails via Wiki-leaks, but, no one is saying he was responsible for the hacking.  That dubious honor is being placed on the Russians.  To date … neither the Obama Administration, the CIA, nor the FBI has come forth with concrete evidence that Russia is responsible for the hack. (I’m not even going into the ridiculous claim that Russia “won” the election for Trump.)  Assange very clearly … several times … stated (last night) that Russia was not behind the hacking.  The faked outrage coming from the left, because many people choose to believe Assange and Wiki-leaks (with a 10 year perfect credibility reputation) over our government agencies (just look at their credibility over the last ten years) is laughable.  Our government agencies have … well-earned … our mistrust.

But … back to Julian Assange.  Not only has he been behind a treasure trove of leaks, (A Somali assignation order, Sarah Palin’s yahoo email account, military e-mail docs, etc.), Sweden wants him back in court for the alleged sexual misconduct and rape of two women.

As much as I think hacking is despicable, I can’t even begin to say how much I despise a rapist.  However … again, the proof, if any, is non-existent (or locked away, somewhere), as it is only an allegation at this point.  According to Assange, the two women involved dropped the charges years ago.  They are not accusing him of sexual misconduct, the Swedish government is.  Assange states he had already been cleared by the State Prosecutor, in Stockholm, Sweden.  He states that he has been detained illegally for the last six years.

So, who really is Julian Assange?  Will we ever know the truth?  Is he the man Sweden is trying, all these years, to prove he is?  Do we condemn him for encouraging hacks, and leaking information on an international level?  Or is he a falsely accused man, imprisoned in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London … and, a hero to be appreciated by the American people, for exposing us to the unsavory, power-greedy hypocrites, who may have become our new leaders.

And, that … is the duality of Julian Assange.

STATE EDUCATION AGENCIES ARE “PASSING THE TRASH” TO OTHER SCHOOLS

Most parents are no longer under the misconception that their children are entirely safe in schools, these days.  And, they would be right to feel this way … but, perhaps … there are even more reasons for concerns over your child’s safety, than one may know.  And, this problem may come as a huge surprise to you.

I am not talking about the bullying, or the gun-shooting incidences that are plaguing our schools.  I am talking about the teachers with whom you place your child’s safety.  Some of whom, sexually abuse your children, are caught, and, are allowed to “quietly” move on to other schools, sometimes, with a financial settlement.  It’s called … “Passing The Trash.”

According to a recent story in USA Today, written by Steve Reilly, state education agencies across the country have ignored a federal ban on signing secrecy deals with teachers suspected of abusing minors, a practice informally known as “passing the trash.”  These contracts hide details of sexual behavior and sometimes pay teachers to quit their jobs quietly.  The secrecy makes it easier for troubled teachers to find new jobs working with children.

In the most comprehensive national review of teacher discipline to date, USA TODAY examined educator misconduct and licensure databases from every state, reviewed thousands of pages of court filings and employment records and surveyed state education officials to determine how teachers who engage in misconduct remain in the education system.

The findings include a New Jersey teacher who molested five elementary school students, an Oregon substitute teacher who reached under a table to touch a student’s genitals and an Illinois teacher who forced elementary students to eat food off his crotch. In each instance, the teacher had been disciplined for sexual misbehavior in a prior school district.

I will be posting more of their findings during the week.  Below, however, is the entire story, from which I will be posting my information.

Have you had the “real” … first talk … with your young children, yet?  The talk where you let them know that no one has a right to touch them in their private areas?  The talk where you let them know that they can come to you at any time and you will listen to them … and stand by them?

If not, I urge you to do so.  It’s not going to get better for your child, once they are out of your sight.  Indeed, it is my belief; it will only get worse … IF … we don’t stop the child predators.  Together we can do this.  Together … we can start pulling out the weeds!

OBAMA SANCTIONS; TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE, SO HYPOCRITICAL

I am no fan of Putin (although he did make Obama look like a wus), and I do agree that there are, more than likely, many reason for sanctions against Russia. But … as far as Russia interfering with this election … where is the proof? In the eight years that Obama has had to retaliate against Russia … he chooses now … and … something with no concrete evidence? (And, really … the “sanctions” are pretty lame.) Actually, about as lame as Obama telling Putin to, “Cut it out.” (How embarrassing.)

Where is the proof that Russia is responsible for the hacking during the election?

Julian Assange has said it was NOT Russia.

Now, for those that are saying why believe Assange? Because, if you have posted in support, and believed everything else that Assange has said, previously … then, wouldn’t it be hypocritical, and shortsighted, to not believe Assange, concerning this? Maybe we could call that … “convenient faith.”

And … here’s the hypocritical part (really So “Obama”) Seriously Obama, it is beneath other countries to “interfere” with a country’s election?? Seriously? Am I the only one who remembers Israel’s 2015 election … and Obama’s interference?

The Flag Was Never Just A Piece Of Cloth To Me

I was Navy. The American flag was never just a piece of cloth to me.  It is one of our most cherished national symbols. Let’s don’t confuse this symbol with a “symbol” representing a football team or a chicken franchise.

The red and white stars represent the thirteen original colonies.  Those …. Colonies … were built by the blood, the sweat and the strife of real men and women, facing unknown dangers, starvation, and separations from friends and family, left behind, in other countries.

The blue canton represents “unity.”  It stands for the unity of people coming together to create this great Republic, and swearing allegiance as one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all Americans.  And, before any one jumps on the “for all Americans” thing, I am referring to when this flag was created and updated to symbolize all 50 states.  I am not talking about the “Pledge of Allegiance, “when, and why the word America …was added.  Let’s stay focused.

The stars represent each state in the Republic of America.  The stars don’t just represent a specific state.  They again … represent all the brave men and women who fought (and those who died) for state sovereignty and to be recognized as a part of this great nation.

I watch people, who have been given more opportunity to do something with their lives than in any other country, chant hate slogans and burn the flag … and, it sickens me.

I watch people who claim to be historians, Constitutionalists, and political authoritarians … smile condescendingly … while reminding viewers and listeners that this is one of those “unalienable rights” of all Americans.

But, there is one word that keeps being kept out of the conversation … and, that is … responsibility.  With rights, come responsibilities.  It is the responsibility of respecting the rights … and feelings … of others, as well as our own.

It is the responsibility of honoring those who have come before us and who have fought and died to preserve the very rights that, so many abuse, today.

Our American Flag has been carried from battleground to battleground in the fight for our liberty and our freedoms, as a country, and, in protecting others.  While it was sometimes torn and shredded, somewhat … it prevailed.

Our American Flag is a symbol of our American history and it is a declaration of all that we have had to fight for, endure, and overcome.

That symbol should not be trivialized to mean nothing more than a “piece of cloth” or a cell-phone symbol.

The American Flag is a symbol which represents the very heart and soul of everything that is America, the good and the ugly.  It represents and honors the good men and women who have fought bravely to preserve our rights and freedoms.  It represents the pain, the heartache, the tears, the sacrifices, and the deaths of real people who helped to make, and preserve our Republic of America.

The events that have framed America … the people that lived and died for this country … are now a part of history.  They are no longer with us.  But … our American Flag is still here.  She is still waving in honor of those people and as a reminder of all that is America.

No, the American Flag is NOT just a piece of cloth, as some say.  It symbolizes the very soul of America, it is the history of America … and it is a constant reminder of the glory and the greatness that America can be for future generations.  Our flag should be revered and honored, not ripped apart and burned.  One has that right, to be sure … but with that right, comes responsibility, and the duty of respect … for the very object … that symbolizes that right.

HAMILTON AIMED HIGH … AND MISSED AGAIN

There has been much “ado” about the “bad performance” of the audience attending the “Hamilton” Broadway play, when Vice President-Elect Pence and family arrived.

While I don’t think the actor’s words, at the closing “grand-finale” were necessarily “offensive” to Pence, I do feel that using the stage and his profession for a political platform, distasteful.

Art forms, including theater, are one place where people, despite their differences, should be able to assemble in harmony, and escape the out-side forces that divide us.

I also felt the “boos” were uncalled for and inexcusable at such an event.  The fact that it was in New York (as one reporter indicated) is not an excuse for poor behavior.  It should also be noted that there were also cheers, while perhaps not as loud.

The less than dramatic “statement” … read … by the actor in character of Aaron Burr fell flat, in my opinion because, while it was an admonishment to Vice President-Elect for more “inclusiveness” in the upcoming administration … and, inclusiveness, was clearly … not the message sent by the audience or the performers

Vice President-Elect Pence attended a Broadway play with his family, sitting in an audience with a diversity of culture, race and nationality, to watch a play featuring black actors performing in the role of characters, based on white people.  He was there to enjoy the play, to support the performing arts and to share that love with everyone around him.  And yet, those very people screaming for “inclusiveness,” showed Pence the very opposite.  They chose to boo him and they chose to set him apart and not include him.

As far as I am concerned, the Broadway show, “Hamilton” aimed high … but missed … once again.

The Beginning of “The Beginning”

I am excited to announce that “The Promise Book; Tell Someone” is now available at Amazon.com and at www.thisisdebbiebarth.com.  The book is the key to the vehicle allowing parents to talk with their small children about child predators without frightening or intimidating them.  The website, for this book, also includes a blog that will express my experiences, as well as the experiences of others.  From time to time, I will share those blogs, here as well.

However, I will also continue my thoughts on all subjects known to mankind.  So … stay tuned.

Here is the first blog from my new www.thisisdebbiebarth.com.  The subject matter is not always easy to write about, but, it is a subject that needs to be addressed … and, combated.

Only The Beginning

It was a day … just like any other day.  The walk home from elementary school … was like any other walk.  Yes, it was like any other day … until she walked through the front door, into the living room.

He appeared to be asleep, with his face and body turned toward the back sofa cushions.  He was completely undressed.  He must have heard her come in, and knew that she was standing there.  He turned over, looked at her … and smiled.

She was feeling uncomfortable, and yet, unable to move.  He was lying there, undressed, now … staring at her.  He had such a strange smile on his face.  He told her to come closer.  She did.

He took her hand and put on his … “private part.”  It was so quite in the house.  She couldn’t breathe.  His smile became even wider, even stranger.  And then … he let her hand go.

He said, “go change your clothes and go out and play.”

She ran to her room, closed the door, changed clothes hurriedly, and then ran through the kitchen and … out the back door.  She wasn’t sure what had just happened … but … she was glad it was over.

What she didn’t know …was that it was just beginning ….

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unfortunately, child predators are often the people closest to the child.  Please look for the signs.  Trust your own instincts.  And, protect your children.  Don’t rely on them to tell you something is wrong.  They won’t, unless you have talked to them, beforehand.  Prepare them.  Let them know … before it happens … that they can “tell someone,” no matter who the abuser is.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hope that you will also take some time to drop by website, at www.thisisdebbiebarth.com and look at this beautiful book, “The Promise Book; Tell Someone,” aimed at helping parents talk with their small children about child predators in a way that is not frightening or intimidating.

So, you are now really seeing the different sides of Debbie Barth … because … “this is really Debbie Barth.”

IF TRUMP HAD SAID “YES,” GUESS WHAT THE MEDIA WOULD HAVE DONE

Just like Anthony Weiner, Miley Cyrus, and Geraldo Rivera, the media is exposing itself, again … and “it’s not pretty.”

If you listened to the debate last night, you know exactly what I am talking about.

The media might as well hold up signs that say “Globalist and proud of it!  We’re opening borders, and closing down individual thinking, one lie at a time.”

All the Liberal and Republican news “entertainment” shows are talking about is that Donald J. Trump will not accept the election results.  Actually, he basically said, he would “wait and see.”  The only story here is that some people are offended by logic, and truth.

Chris Wallace saved the question for last, probably expecting this very answer from Trump.  He planned it well.

The thing is, Donald Trump, a few minutes earlier … had spent time referring to the Project Veritas Videos- Part 1 and 2 , addressing actual conversations, and proving the existence of rigged campaigning and the possibility of rigged voting booths.  Trump referred to the damaging Wiki-leaks emails confirming, in essence, the message of the videos.  Now, with that being said … I would then conclude that Trump would have been condemned, no matter what he said.  Whether it was, “let’s wait and see” … “no” … or, “why, yes … absolutely I will accept the results.”  There would have been an onslaught of attacks, today.  And, here is why.

If he had given the “hypocritical, standard,  “PC” reply”, then the media would be ripping him apart for saying that he would accept the results … just minutes after saying this campaign and more than likely, the voting system, itself, is rigged.  The media would have then down-played the recent videos and wiki-leaks, as simply … “of little importance,” since Trump had no problem, accepting the upcoming election results.

But, being the honest and logical (what a concept) leader that Donald J. Trump is … he said, “I will wait and see, and let you know.”  He didn’t pander, he didn’t waiver … he told the truth.  And, what he said makes all the sense in the world.

The media will not, now, be able to disavow the videos or wiki-leaks, using Trump as an example of why the videos and wiki-leaks emails are not relevant.

The media is also not reminding the American people that some of the Republican Candidates lied when they said they would support whoever the Candidate may be, during the primary.  They lied, and their actions prove it.

Only Fox (to my knowledge and as I write this) has mentioned that Clinton, herself, did not accept the results in 2002, nor did Bill Clinton.  And, Al Gore actually tried to bring legal action because he felt he had been robbed of votes.

Yes, the media, and its owners are Globalists.  They want open borders (Democrats, Republicans, and all who will profit, while the American Republic goes down in flames.)  They will do everything possible to take down Donald Trump.  And, yet this man is still standing, proud and strong, with a resounding message of love for this country, and our Republic.

And, the media … the media continues to expose itself to the American people, in desperation for attention and validation.  They have bared their soulless agenda.  And, again … like Anthony Wiener, Miley Cyrus, and Geraldo Rivera … “it is so not pretty.”

WHAT YOU ARE REALLY VOTING FOR THIS YEAR

I am surprised at some of the people who say they aren’t voting for either candidate, in November. Some think that it “sends a message” to the government, and some feel that, somehow … it cancels out another vote (note sure about the math with this one) and some say that it will not make a difference.

I think that if you just set there … and you don’t vote … you don’t do anything, but complain in social media or to each other … how do you feel this is actually sending a message to anyone that is really pertinent in government, or that it will lead to change? Frankly, I think you are letting the government off the hook and you are “complying” … not … “sending a message.” If you are actually doing the math, it isn’t staying home that counts … it’s actually voting.

And … YES, votes do count and that is what sends the message to the government. Not a temper tantrum or some kind of misguided sense of “superiority of character and what’s best for this country,” based on doing nothing because … one’s choice of candidate didn’t get nominated.

And, YES … voting WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE … and one that will be seen.

You aren’t just voting for a person. You are voting for open … or … closed borders. You are voting for continued usurpation and overspending of this government … or … stopping usurpation and overspending.

You are voting for a continuing racial division in this country … or … bringing people together, through conversations based on their love for this country, personal respect for each other, and a drive to bring back jobs and better education for all.

You are voting for elevating the risk for terrorism in this country … by bringing more immigrants into this country, who are not properly vetted. Or, you are voting for common sense in the fight against Islamic Radical Terrorism.

You are voting for more gun control, making it more difficult for innocent, law-abiding people to take protect their families … or … the enforcement of the gun laws already on the books and the preservation of our 2nd amendment.

You are voting for who will be the next confirmed Supreme Court Justice (Perhaps as many as three) and future landmark rulings.

You are not just voting for a person. You are voting for what that person will do once in office.

Never has the difference in policies been so different. Never has the sanctity of our Bill of Rights and our U.S. Constitution, our economy, our education, our future … our country … been on the line as it is now.

I may not agree with your choice, but to not vote at all is letting down every man and women who has fought for the very right to vote.

No, simply because you don’t like the candidates who are running … two very different fates are in the hands of the winner in November. And, you will help to seal that fate.

You are NOT just voting for Hillary R. Clinton or Donald J. Trump. You are voting for the Republic of America … or not.

Feeling Blue and Seeing Red Because Hillary Clinton Won’t Be Wearing Orange

So, here’s my thought on the decision of F.B.I. Director Comey.  While he did confirm that she had lied about some classified info in her email, and that she was grossly negligent (this should have gotten her the indictment, but didn’t), and that she is extremely careless … according to him … it was at his “discretion” not … to indict her.  I am as mad as everyone (who cares about this country).  But after I calmed down, I stopped to consider the ramifications if she was indicted.

Yes, she would have to step out of the election and then there would be more taxpayer money spent on her trial. So, the only good I see in her indictment is that she would not have been able to run for the Presidency. And, some would have felt … vindicated.  Perhaps, some of our “faith” in the government process would have been vindicated.  Perhaps.

I actually think that this decision … in the long run … will work in favor of those who oppose her, and want Trump to win this election.

If she stepped down now, there is a very good chance that “Uncle” Joe Biden would have stepped in.  There is also the chance that Elizabeth Warren might have been selected as V.P.

While “Uncle” Joe is considered by some as a likeable “bungler” of sorts, he does not carry the decades-long baggage of Hillary Clinton.  Elizabeth Warren echoes many of the same sentiments as Bernie Sanders and would have gotten the vote from the Sanders people who may have voted for Trump out of sheer hatred for H. Clinton.

I frankly believe that Donald Trump has a better chance of beating Hillary than he would a Biden/Warren ticket.  We would then have a third term of Obama, and … we could say “bye-bye” to our Republic of America.

So, does the “Comey decision” make many people angry and confirm our distrust of our government officials?  I would say it absolutely does.  I believe that the “fix” was in.  I believe this decision was based on bribes, greed and corruption.  I believe that the F.B.I Director was wrong.  I believe that AG Loretta Lynch will remember, fondly, her “chance meeting” with Bill Clinton.

However … I also believe if the American people will make sure that Hillary Clinton’s scandals … all of them … are brought to the forefront of the general election … and kept there, and that if we NEVER say … “it’s time to move on” … that we can continue to chip away at the corrupt, soulless, character of this vile, contemptible woman … and Donald Trump can win this election.

Then, and only then, will we have the opportunity to bring back the values that once made this country great.  I sincerely believe that the odds for Trump to beat Hillary Clinton just went up.

So, while many of us are feeling blue and seeing red, because Hillary Clinton won’t be wearing orange … this may actually turn out to be what wins Trump the election in November.
